Cozy, welcoming, and the food is next-level delicious. Highly recommend!Posted on Soumya D.Verified Amazing Khachapuri. The food was phenomenal and the portions were massive. We definitely over ordered haha!! We were seated at the bar and were given the best service from the staff at Saperavi. Many of the menu items are vegetarian friendly too which is a huge bonus. Can't wait to come back and check out more of their dishes!Posted on Sandra D.Verified Food was amazing and so was our waiter, Tato, at this great new Georgian gem stop. A great new Georgian gem on the UES!Posted on Alyssa N.Verified Wonderful service, food was fantastic. So happy this gem opened right on my block! Back patio and indoor vibes are great.Posted on Kassandra F.Verified Exceptional service. Comforting and delicious food. Great wine. Adorable space. I loved the education about the food and wine -- it made it a truly wonderful experience all around.Posted on Roger L.Verified I had dinner there - invited by my doctor to celebrate my birthday on 9/9/2025 - this past Tuesday. We gorged on eggplant rolls (very yummy) and we shared an Adjaruli which is dough - baked in the shape of a kayak - flaky and tasty on the outside yet hard on the inside - where a delicious hot Georgian cheese is whipped with an egg yolk by your waiter. In our case we were very well taken care of by George - who catered to all our needs and suggested wines for us to try. We ended up having a glass of Mildiani Kinzmaruli - which although is on the sweet side - it went VERY well with our meal choices !! It was a magical evening for me - a 73 year young man and his beautiful young Japanese doctor.Posted on Brenda Y.Verified This is my first time trying Georgian food and I had fun trying new foods! The interior was dimmed well and nicely decorated. There was no wait when we went during early lunch time. The cheese bread was good but overtime it got overwhelming and hard to finish since it is just cheese and bread. The beef dumplings were great but the spinach and cheese dumplings lacked flavor. The grilled sausage paired well with the mashed potatoes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you haven't tried Georgian food yet!Posted on Efrencho 1.Verified We order bread and cheese and was the best thing ever tried, we love this plate. The mushroom and the fried potatoes it's the first time I've tested and it's amazingPosted on Lauren C.Verified A great addition to the neighborhood with incredible vegan options. We started with the classic starter, the trio of three dips. It comes with a creamy walnut dip, a tomato/pepper dip, and an onion walnut dip. All tasty and served in portions so generous that we didn't have enough bread to finish them. The homemade bread is fresh and good. Next, we had the assorted pkhali, which is two other walnut-based spreads (spinach and beet flavored) plus some walnut-stuffed peppers and eggplants, accompanied by the house cornbread. The spreads were all fresh and tasty and remarkably different from one another considering they were all walnut-based. (Every time we asked our waiter a question about a menu item, he started by asking whether we liked walnuts - lol!) The cornbread was very oily but good. We loved the lobio entree, Georgian bean stew accompanied by homemade pickled vegetables and more cornbread. For dessert, we had the pelamushi, a chilled grape jelly roughly the consistency of cranberry sauce, served with (you guessed it) walnuts. It was fun and unlike anything we'd ever had before. Overall we were thrilled to have so many plant-based options and look forward to trying different things next time such as the mushroom dishes and the soups.Posted on Lisa R.Verified One if my favorite restaurants in New York (or anywhere!) everything is exquisite. Everyone who works there is so nice. The adjaruli is pillow soft bread stuffed with delicious cheese. The waiter adds an egg yolk and stirs it into the molten cheese. One serving is enough for two -or save for breakfast. The eggplant rolls are unique and refreshing. My favorite app though are the elarji cheese balls with walnut sauce. Omg so good!!
